Drop anything, get what you need. Mutare turns BRAW, ProRes, DNxHR, MXF, MKV, AVI, MTS, HEVC and almost any video into the format each job calls for: a light reel, a web TV playout file, a 4K ProRes master or an edit proxy.
What makes it different
- Source Check: before converting, it tells you whether your footage can take the resolution change. If upscaling a phone clip to 4K will look bad, it warns you and offers to keep it at its own size. No other converter tells you the truth about your footage.
- Real Blackmagic RAW: develops BRAW with the official SDK (ISO, white balance, exposure, Rec.709, Extended Video or Film, .cube LUTs) and goes straight to H.264 or ProRes, no editor needed.
- Quality scaling: 720p, 1080p, UHD, DCI 4K, vertical 9:16 and square, with Fit, Fill and Stretch modes and 10-bit Lanczos filtering.
- Pro formats: ProRes from Proxy to 4444 XQ, DNxHR from LB to 444, H.264 and 10-bit H.265 on NVIDIA, AMD or Intel graphics.
